回到溫哥華的4個月中, 經歷很多事情.
這其中有讓我成長,難過. 也看到人性非常自私的一面.

我不喜歡溫哥華,從第一次在2003年到溫哥華就不喜歡了.
更確切的說,是這邊的人,讓我對溫哥華失望.

最近在看Ugly Betty.
雖然劇情普普,但是他可以加強我的聽力和口語,就彌補了一些.
看到第一季第六集,創意總監對他女兒說了一段話讓我非常認同.

Being away from home, being away from the ones you love, makes you strong. Build you armor. Because in the end, the only person you can depend on is yourself.

這提醒我,必須要更堅強,因為這個世界是不會對人手下留情的. 因為

The game is out there. And it is either play or get played.

三歲的小公主拿了他的一個方形玩具鏡子來到我的房間拿起我桌上的圓形鏡子,
問我要圓形的還是方形的.
我理所當然選了圓的,他笑笑的說:方形比較好啦~
因為我專心在做我的事情沒有理他,他就離開我的房間了

剛剛去她的房間叫他睡覺,才發現我的粉紅色圓形鏡子靜靜的躺在她的桌子上.而她的玩具方形鏡子則是可憐的丟在我房間的地上

人生就是這樣不斷的面對問題解決問題.
但是工作怎麼那麼難找?
連一個簡單的超級市場貨架員都輪不到我,

縱使我認為我的英文還可以,

雖說跟在媽媽身邊學習待人接物已經好幾年，
第一次離開媽媽的羽翼求職，
馬上面臨了震撼教育。

我常常是那個最後知道實情的人，
往往得罪了人也不自知，
直到別人做了報復的手段後，
才知道自己做錯了些什麼事。

Yesterday(4/5), It should have been a wonderful sleeping day; the weekend that I looked forward to coming desperately. 8:30 in the morning, a phone call interrupted my sweet dream, I jumped out of my bed and started searching my cellar phone. It was Bryan, I started wondering, isn't it Saturday? Or I got confused by different time zones between Taiwan and Vancouver. If it is, I am definitely late for work, so I checked the time on the watch. After making sure the time, I stared dizzying and ready to fall asleep, the phone rang again.

Bryan: Your car window got smashed!
Amy: What?
Bryan: some thieves destroyed your car window and took the GPS.
Amy: What the Fxck! That one is the most valuable thing on the car!
Bryan: I know that...I'll come and take you to report ICBC....

Wow~ what a fucking experience!
Although I have insurance to cover it, and Bryan is going to buy me a new GPS, I still don't want this damn thing happened to me!

Hope those who steal things from my car are in the hall after they died!

[life] 到Canada Place 看U2 3D演唱會

很少看到演唱會是用電影院播放的方式出現，
而Ｕ２這場演唱會是利用３Ｄ立體的方式展現。
本來不知道有這種東西，是最近台灣要播放了，
人在溫哥華，當然也不能落後阿。

利用平常時間去看就不會有人擠人的狀況出現，
從住的地方開車過去花了１５分鐘，
也花了快２０分鐘找ｉｍａｘ　Ｔｈｅａｔｅｒ...

到了Ｂｏｘ　ｏｆｆｉｃｅ已經七點，還有一堆人在排隊，頓時鬆了一口氣～





拿了票之後進入戲院，工作人員發給每人一支３Ｄ立體眼鏡。

演唱會用這種方式觀賞，我還是第一次。
那個鼓，根本就是像真的在你面前。
加上戲院本身的音響系統，感覺真棒！
ＢＯＮＯ手伸出來就好像要碰到你了呢，超好玩的！

[funny] 吃素?! 吃樹!?

最近和別人同住，有機會和小孩子一起生活。

Ivan家的弟弟出去溜答片刻後肚子餓了，一進到家裡就吵著要吃晚飯。
話題不知道如何進行的，就說到吃素食。
五歲的他哪懂什麼是吃素，字彙量是很少的。
馬上嘟起嘴說：為什麼要吃樹？我不要吃樹！
這時候他爸還搞不清楚狀況，以為小孩子不懂，還在那邊瘋狂解釋。
我則已經狂笑倒地。

[life] 吃龍眼乾的小孩

一般人對龍眼乾的印象是停留在老人家的零食，
但是最近我大開了眼界。

朋友Ivan家的三歲小妹妹，
吃龍眼乾吃的津津有味，吃像完全不輸給大人。
每個龍眼的肉的吃的乾乾淨淨的，超厲害的。
最喜歡拿龍眼乾問她這是什麼，
她總是用最可愛的聲音說出台語的龍眼乾，（她只知道龍眼乾的台語發音。）
真的可愛極了。

[emotional] 廣播的故事

這幾天一直想到我曾經想做的夢想,
就是當一個廣播的主持人，和聽眾分享每天的喜怒哀樂。
想著想著，回想到有天在車上聽了一段廣播節目，
是讓聽眾call in進去點歌，並分享點撥這首歌的心情。

那時候有一通屏東的電話撥進去，想要點播張學友的愛慕，
主持人便請這位女生分享她點撥這首歌的心情。

她說：我想點播這首歌，送給我在天上的老公。
　　　我和我老公很早就結婚了。在二十歲出頭的時候，
　　　我老公就出意外死掉了。那時候，我已經生了兩個小孩，
　　　婆婆怕我帶著兩個小孩改嫁，便希望我嫁給小叔。
　　　在無心思考的情形下，便答應了婆婆的要求。
　　　雖然，小叔對我也很好，婆婆也是對我很好，
　　　但是....(泣)
我希望把這首歌送給在天上的老公，
　　　老公我永遠愛你...

當下，車上的人和廣播主持人，幾乎都沉默不語，
過了幾秒鐘主持人說：他會永遠愛你的！

哇～現在回憶到這段對話，我的眼框又充滿了淚水。
我不知道這種事落到我身上，我會如何做選擇！
這種在電視上演的東西，沒想到真的會發生，
也很佩服這位聽眾的勇氣。
當我很愛的人死掉，我想我的心也應該跟隨他的死，
如何在愛上別人，更何況是自己之前叫小叔的人？
叫人情何以堪呢？
真的！女人真的很偉大的！為了小孩子，什麼苦都願意吃。
希望這位撥打電話的女聽眾，現在過的很快樂，
就讓這段往事隨風而逝吧！

[life] 跨年經驗

不說去年的跨年,

這次,2007到2008的這個跨年,
人剛好在台灣, 又剛好看到鳳山辦了一個晚會
是邀請一些台灣的獨立樂團表演,
想說,去支持一下台灣的獨立樂團,順便也感染一些跨年的氣氛.

有時候想想為什麼人要減肥呢? 我是自作孽阿~~~~
就是這個原因,讓我從左營騎腳踏車到鳳山的鳳凌廣場,
結果騎到高雄和鳳山交界的地方,發現輪胎破了!
硬撐到會場,站了幾個小時.聽了幾個還不錯的樂團.
也一起和大家過到2008!

這時,噩夢才剛要開始,本來是有經過腳踏車店,可以順便換輪胎的,
但是,身上只剩50元台幣和一張信用卡,小車店並不提供刷卡服務呀!
又想說,高市公車好像營業到凌晨兩點,
趕快把腳踏車遷到三多路舊家的樓下,換搭公車回左營.
沒想到,根˙本˙就˙沒˙有˙公˙車!
害我一路從鳳山走到左營,整整兩個小時吧!
腿根本沒知覺了....

一路上走著,一堆人也是剛跨完年,
騎著摩托車從我身旁飛馳而過,
這時候想起,常常有人說高雄人很熱情,很有人情味,不管怎樣都有人會停下腳步幫你的
但是,我體認到事實並不是如此的,應該是有所限制的!
人家口中所說的正妹,才能感受到高雄人的人情味的!!

總之,幹麻湊什麼熱鬧呢!
一年的開始就不順利了,接下來會有什麼事情發生呢?
拭目以待吧?

時間過的真快呢!

一眨眼一年就過了

回想自己在去年的生活,

一點收穫也沒有.

一定要好好的把握接下來的人生,

希望事情能像我想的那樣順利就好了!

先前介紹過Damien他的一些背景，現在介紹他的第一張專輯。
這張專輯是把之前發的單曲集合成一張，以偷情主題曲The Blower's daughter 為主打，在2002年底出這張專輯。台灣是搭配電影出專輯，在電影的帶動下，銷售數字還挺亮眼的。更棒的是，台灣還有搭配B-sides，也就是專輯的遺珠之憾，超划算的，國外這張還要另外花錢買。這張專輯入手的推薦度達五顆星。特別的是，他的音樂加入大提琴，低音的提琴，讓音樂更惆悵，在volcano這首歌裡，那提琴聲配的非常貼切，這首歌若沒提琴配樂，好聽程度可能減半。

Introduce:

大家記得intel P4 cpu開始出現時的廣告嘛?有3個穿黑衣服，臉是藍色的(不是藍色小精靈)，把水管拿起來打的廣告嘛...，我在波士頓的時候，去看了他們的表演，非常棒的，把水管組合起來當打擊樂器使用。但是他們表演的樂器不只是管子而已還有很多種類像鼓.竿子(把少林寺的棍法發揚，哈...)

他們的演出很無俚頭，在穿插一些特殊樂器搭配樂團的音樂，進去觀賞他們的一場表演要52塊美金(折合台幣1800元)，但是，他們的表演非常耗成本，顏料的使用...(坐前排的還要穿雨衣，因為會怕噴到顏料)，結束表演還狂抽滾捲式的衛生紙，讓整個場地變白的(見下圖)，在觀眾中選一個男生，帶到後台，全身沾上顏料，倒吊起來撞擊一面白紙...很爽吧！...好笑的地方在他們的動作跟眼神啦...有機會的話一定要欣賞。重頭到尾沒有說過一句話，用肢體表達配上字幕與觀眾互動，非常精采。對了，他們的最厲害的是，在5公尺外接棉花糖，累積在嘴裡，等到滿了在一整坨拿出來，有點噁心。 有機會看到他們演出，一定要把我機會！

若看過closer(偷情)這部電影的話，應該對片頭的那句話映像深刻，紅髮的Alice在Damien Rice的The blower's Daughter這首歌的配樂下，揭開了影片。Hello, Stranger!而背景音樂即是Damien Rice。

Damien Rice 是愛爾蘭歌手，他的音樂有民謠 、後搖滾的感覺。他生於1973年12月7日，他在高中的時候，組了一個團叫Juniper，但他們從未發行過一張專輯，只發行過一張叫做Weatherman的單曲，之後Damien自己就離團了，之後他就旅行歐洲當街頭藝人。他回到都柏林後，寫了一堆歌，遇到了伯樂，又跟上電影偷情的帶動，在2002年順勢發行了專輯，也拜電影之賜把他的專輯ｏ推向世界。

他的團是五人編制：
Damien Rice - Guitar / Vocals
Lisa Hannigan - Vocals / Electric Guitar
Vyvienne Long - Cello / Piano / (Occasional) Vocals
Shane Fitzsimons - Bass
Tomo - Percussion / Backing Vocals

他的音樂大受好評之後，他並未馬上出第二張專輯，反而開始巡迴演唱，在其中單曲也有繼續發行，但是讓樂迷期待的是他的第二章專輯，隔了四年，在2006年的11月發行了他第二張的專輯（９crimes）。但是老實說，這張專輯製作的很粗糙，是回歸到他在pub駐唱時的風格，在歌曲的選擇上，感覺蠻失望的。再等待第二張專輯的期間，我去抓了他再巡迴演唱的一些錄音，很多新歌他並未選入這張專輯，而那些歌才比較令人欣賞的。

分享他在2002年 Live At The Lobby, Cork的一首bootleg。
這首歌叫Face，是走搖滾路線的。　enjoy it!

[musical] 很強的drum & bass的組合

鼓手是Dave Matthews Band的 Carter Beauford，他把他玩jazz music那套，來打搖滾，鼓純粹伴奏，鮮少solo，但是他的東西不見得簡單。看那影片，裡面的鬼音（裝飾音）打的有多恐怖，之前看到這影片，較卯起來練tip，然後還跟鼓老師說，不要教我太多，教我把鬼音打的像他一樣變態就好。
